General terms and conditions
1. Definitions
1.1 "Kron”, was created for the purpose of repairing broken smartphones, tablets and laptops.
1.2 In these general terms and conditions, Kron also includes all employees in its employment.
1.3 In these general terms and conditions, customer means: a natural or legal person that uses the services of Kron.
1.4 In these general terms and conditions, services means: the work carried out by Kron, such as but not limited to the repair of products and the collection or delivery of these products.
1.5 In these general terms and conditions, products means: equipment submitted by customers for repair, such as but not limited to smartphones, tablets and laptops.
1.6 In these general terms and conditions, original parts means: parts from the manufacturer, either supplied new or reused from original equipment.
1.7 In these general terms and conditions, website means: www.kron.si
2. Applicability of these conditions
2.1 These terms and conditions apply to all customers of Kron.
2.2 Deviations from these terms and conditions are only valid if expressly agreed upon in writing with Kron.
3. Agreement
3.1 The agreement is concluded when the customer accepts a quote or offer from Kron. Acceptance can be made orally, in writing, or electronically.
3.2 If, due to circumstances unknown at the time of the agreement, additional work is required, Kron is entitled to charge these costs to the customer. The customer may, if they object, cancel any work not yet performed. The customer is obligated to compensate Kron for the work performed on their product thus far.
3.3 If a customer wishes to cancel the order, this is only possible for the portion of the work not yet performed.
4. Performance of services
4.1 Customers with an appointment have priority over customers without an appointment.
4.2 Upon delivery of the product, Kron will ask for the access code to test certain functions. By providing this access code, the customer consents to Kron using this code to test functions. The customer is not obligated to provide the access code to have their device repaired.
4.3 Kron reserves the right to reset the product to its original factory settings. This will primarily be done if necessary for the repair's outcome.
4.4 The customer is responsible for providing Kron with the correct information.
4.5 Kron attempts to use original parts for its repairs. If this is not possible, parts of the highest possible quality will be used.
4.6 Kron reserves the right to engage third parties to perform its services.
4.7 Kron attempts to complete common repairs within 30 minutes. 4.8 If the product is not collected within one week, the customer will be notified. If the product has not been collected after 30 days, ownership will be transferred to Kron.
5. Warranty, costs and payment
5.1 After repairs by Kron, the customer has a lifetime warranty on the functionality of the repaired component. This warranty does not apply to cracks in the glass or LCD, or other damage caused by drops, impacts, pressure, water, or visible user damage.
5.2 Although Kron uses the highest quality components, Kron cannot guarantee that the manufacturer's warranty on the product will remain valid.
5.3 If the product cannot be repaired, the customer will not be charged. However, for water damage and motherboard repairs, an investigation fee will be charged.
5.4 The repair costs are as shown on Kron website.
5.5 These costs must be paid by customers in the store immediately upon collection of the product. Business customers can pay by invoice after approval.
5.6 Products manufactured to be waterproof/moisture-resistant by the manufacturer may lose this waterproofing after repair. Kron is not liable for the waterproofing of a device after repair.
5.7 We offer a 12-month warranty on replacement batteries and accessories.
5.8 Repairs to devices with water damage or motherboard defects are attempted repairs with an uncertain outcome. Kron does not provide any warranty in this regard and is not liable for any damage that occurs during or after the repair.

6. Liability
6.1 Kron has only a best efforts obligation towards the customer. Kron can therefore never be held liable for failure to achieve the desired result.
6.2 If Kron is nevertheless held liable, Kron will only be liable for direct damages actually incurred, paid, or suffered by you due to a demonstrable failure to comply with our obligations regarding our services. This liability is limited to a maximum of the invoice value for the repair of the product.
6.3 All claims by the customer due to failure on the part of Kron will lapse if they are not reported to Kron in writing and with reasons within fourteen (14) days after the customer was or could reasonably have been aware of the facts on which they base their claims.
6.4 Kron is never liable for the loss of data.
6.5 Kron is not liable for damage to products caused by force majeure, including but not limited to: burglary, leakage, fire, and flooding.
6.6 Kron will adequately insure itself and maintain insurance against the damage referred to in Article 6.7.Kron will pay the customer the compensation received from the insurance company pro rata.
6.8 In the event of a total loss of a product, the current market value of that product will be used. Compensation will be provided in the same manner as in Article 6.6, up to a maximum of €250. Under no circumstances is Kron obligated to replace the product in its entirety.
7. Purchasing and sales partners
7.1 In some locations, Kron offers products or services from external sales partners through a shop-in-shop arrangement, such as the purchase and sale of (refurbished) devices from the Remarketed or Swappie brands.
7.2 The purchase and sale of these products takes place through the sales partner's checkout and infrastructure, but the purchase and sale may be carried out by Kron employees.
7.3 In this case, Kron acts solely as an intermediary and is not a party to the purchase agreement between the customer and the sales partner.
7.4 All liability, warranty, service, and return conditions relating to these products are the sole responsibility of the relevant sales partner.
7.5 Although Kron is not a party to the agreement between the customer and the sales partner, it will – where reasonably possible – make every effort to resolve any disputes between the customer and the sales partner amicably.
8. Identity

9. Applicable law and competent court
9.1 The legal relationship between Kron and its customers is governed by Slovenian law.
9.2 All disputes that may arise between Kron and its customers will be settled by the competent court of the Ljubljana district.
